Campion Gardens is a Nursing Home with a difference – for it is known as a Retirement Village with over 80 residents. The Rector of St. Teilo’s is the ecumenical chaplain – conducting a half hour service every Sunday at 4.p.m. (for residents and non-residents) and Holy Communion on a Thursday morning at 10.30.a.m. (in the chapel or in the residents room). The ministry team is led by Mrs Barbara Arthur (01792-585804) and volunteers are always needed to help and share with the residents at both of the weekly services.

Our ministry began in 1994 when Campion Gardens was called Nazareth House and run by Roman Catholic Nuns. When the ownership was transferred and alterations made internally, a small chapel was created on the first floor. From that moment in time the work has grown and flourished.
